Drawing on their expertise and insights from industry leaders in both corporate and university sectors, our co-founders have curated over 50 micro-learning activities proven to enhance students’ employability.
Jake is a leader in digital and technology recruitment and has spent his career collaborating with founders, CEOs, and investors of scaling tech enterprises. Specialising in employability support and recruitment strategy planning, Jake has cultivated profound experience in both startup and enterprise talent acquisition. This has included collaborations with some of the world's most iconic brands, venture capitalists, and private equity funds.
Will is an accomplished leader in educational technology, boasting over 5 years of expertise in implementing intricate SaaS solutions tailored to educational institutions' needs. Through close collaboration with universities, he has amassed extensive knowledge of student interaction with online learning, thereby playing a pivotal role in shaping long-term strategic plans. With a career spanning the entirety of the APAC region, Will offers invaluable insights into how global customers can discern the returns on their investments in technology platforms.

Australian Schools Plus is a national not-for-profit that believes every child has the right to the same opportunities to thrive in school and beyond. We enable opportunities for all young Australians to reach their potential by tackling the most pressing challenges in education. We drive change by investing in schools facing disadvantage, with funding and capacity-building support, tailored to meet their unique needs and improve student outcomes.
Hire-Ed has pledge 1% of all profits goes directly to supporting Schools Plus and their mission to support disadvantaged students across Australia.
Hire-Ed are also providing the infrastructure of the Hire-Ed platform for custom content to schools, where they would like to utilise a platform to deliver content to their students.

Like lots of good idea’s, Hire-Ed was devised over a cold beer in Jake & Will’s favourite bar in Bondi Beach, Cafe Bikini.
Having seen the positive impact Jake’s employability seminars were having at Macquarie University, he came to his co-founder, Will, with the idea of scaling this support in the form of an on-demand e-learning platform designed to support students in securing the dream internships and graduate roles.
In the interest of ensuring the platform was as student-centric as possible, they partnered with Macquarie University’s PACE industry program to build the platform, providing students with an internship opportunity, as well as taking student direction on the customer journey, so it was easy for students to use.
